T. duboisi is a species of freshwater fish that can only be found in the wild in Lake Tanganyika in Africa. However, it has 4 location point variants, and one of them, T. duboisi Maswa is critically endangered! As a result, this rare fish species is at risk of going extinct at the hands of over fishing by exporters for the global aquarium trade.
