Chromobotia macracanthus is commonly know in the aquarium fish trade as the Clown Loach. Also it can be referred to as the Tiger Botia. The Clown loach is a tropical freshwater fish from the botiid loach family. Additionally, it is the only member of the genus Chromobotia.
The Clown Loach is a popular fish amongst freshwater fish keeping enthusiasts in the aquarium trade. Originally the Tiger Botia came from the inland waters of Sumatra and Borneo in Indonesia.
