Front: "These 2 species from Lake Tanganyika may seem like pals here at
home on this shirt – but looks can be deceiving!"
Back: 1. "This little “Blue” Frontosa will one day grow into a monster at over a foot long, and need a tank at least 6 feet in length. They are best kept in groups of 8 or more as they are quite social creatures. In the wild Frontosa prey on other fish and require a high protein diet. They might even consider a small fish, like a juvenile tropheus, to be a snack!"
2. "This little “Red” Tropheus may look cute but as they mature they become increasingly aggressive, & are much too boisterous to be kept with the more passive Frontosa. Tropheus will do best in tanks over 75 gallons, in a colony with 20+ members to divert aggression. These fish are Algae grazers and will not tolerate a diet high in protein, making feeding time in a mixed tank with Frontosa a death sentence."
